Itinerary
DAY 1
Departing at 7:15 AM from the Hotel St. Martin in a deluxe coach, you’ll head toward Assisi, a tiny medieval town encircled by ancient walls. There, you can explore at your own pace, including a visit to the Basilica of St. Francis, where masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue await. Afterwards, you’ll have free time for lunch (not included).
Once you’re ready, you’ll board the bus again for Siena — a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and the historic Palio horse race. After soaking in Siena’s charm, you’ll continue on to Florence. There, you’ll check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and settle in for a restful night.

DAY 2
After breakfast, you will spend the day exploring beautiful Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance,” where Italian art—greatly shaped by Michelangelo—reached its height. Rooted in Etruscan-Roman origins, the city thrived as a free “Comune” in the Middle Ages and blossomed even further during the Renaissance.
You will see countless remarkable monuments, churches, and buildings, including Santa Maria del Fiore, the famous Duomo, crowned by Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome. Just across a small piazza stands the Campanile, partly designed by Giotto, and the Baptistery with its bronze doors that Michelangelo nicknamed the “Gates of Paradise.”
In the historic heart of Florence, you’ll visit Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Lunch will be served in a traditional Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce.
In the afternoon, you are free to wander Florence’s charming cobblestone streets or join an optional excursion to Pisa, one of Italy’s ancient Marine Republics. There, you can explore the Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the Duomo, the iconic Leaning Tower, and the Baptistery.
Dinner will be at your leisure, followed by an overnight stay in Florence.

DAY 3
After a delightful breakfast in Florence, you’ll depart for the elegant city of Bologna. Upon arrival, the charming city center—famous for its iconic porticos—invites you to explore at your own pace. Begin your walk at Piazza Malpighi and continue toward Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, where you can admire the historic Palazzo Podestà and the impressive Basilica of San Petronio, the largest brick-built Gothic church in the world.
Next, discover why Bologna is celebrated as Italy’s gastronomic capital. As you wander through medieval streets, you’ll find vibrant food stalls and markets offering a tempting variety of traditional and modern specialties. This immersive experience goes beyond simple tasting—it’s a true journey into the city’s rich culinary heritage. A delightful street-food light lunch at a local eatery is included, giving you the chance to savor the authentic flavors that define Bologna’s renowned cuisine.
Later in the afternoon, the journey continues to Venice (Mestre). Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel and enjoy a restful overnight stay.

DAY 4
Tour ends after breakfast! You may opt for an extension in Venice or in other locations as Milan, Como or the region of the Northern Lakes.
