DAY 01 – ARRIVAL IN MANILA

Arrival in Manila.

Meet and greet at the airport by a Baron Travel representative, followed by your transfer to the hotel.

Check-in at Kingsford Hotel Manila.

DAY 02 – MANILA | PAGSANJAN FALLS TOUR (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for the Pagsanjan Falls Tour.

"Shoot the rapids" on a traditional dugout canoe and experience the wonders of nature. Located approximately two and a half hours south of Manila, Pagsanjan, Laguna offers breathtaking scenery and an unforgettable adventure. Upon arrival, board a native canoe skillfully paddled by two boatmen as you journey upstream through rocks and boulders, surrounded by steep gorges and lush tropical vegetation.

At the falls, you may swim or ride a bamboo raft through the cascading waters into a cave hidden behind the waterfall. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel. The canoe ride back downstream is an exhilarating experience as you navigate the same rapids and rock formations you passed on your way upriver.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue the tour before returning to Manila.

DAY 03 – MANILA | BANAUE (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Check out and begin your overland journey to Banaue (approximately 10–12 hours).

Lunch at a local restaurant en route.

Arrive in Banaue in the late afternoon.

Check-in at Banaue Hotel.

Overnight accommodation.

DAY 04 – BANAUE | LOCAL VILLAGE TOUR (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

08:30 AM – Depart for the Banaue Local Village Tour.

Travel by exclusive local jeepney to explore the world-famous Banaue Rice Terraces and one of its traditional villages. Visit Bangaan Village, nestled within a picturesque valley surrounded by rice terraces. A 20-minute walk along a descending trail offers a closer look at the unique culture and way of life of the Ifugao people.

Visit a traditional Ifugao house and learn about local customs and traditions. Continue to a viewpoint overlooking the Banaue Rice Terraces, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." These magnificent terraces, built over 2,000 years ago, are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lunch at a local restaurant or at the hotel.

The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure.

DAY 05 – BANAUE | BATAD | BANGAAN (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for Batad Rice Terraces, one of the five UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Ifugao. These spectacular amphitheater-shaped terraces surround a small village at their base, creating a breathtaking landscape and a peaceful atmosphere.

Continue to Bangaan Rice Terraces, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, where traditional Ifugao houses stand against the backdrop of stunning rice terraces.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to the hotel.

Dinner at the hotel.

Overnight accommodation.

DAY 06 – BANAUE | SAGADA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Check out and transfer to Sagada.

Upon arrival, visit the picturesque town of Sagada, known for its famous Hanging Coffins and ancient burial caves.

Continue to the Bontoc Museum, founded by a Belgian missionary sister, which houses an impressive collection of authentic artifacts, photographs, and exhibits showcasing the culture and traditions of the mountain tribes.

Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 07 – SAGADA | BUSCALAN | MOUNTAIN PROVINCE (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for Buscalan Village, Kalinga (approximately 2 hours travel time).

Buscalan is a remote village in the municipality of Tinglayan, Kalinga. It is home to the legendary traditional tattoo artist Apo Whang-Od, recognized as the last and oldest practitioner of the ancient Kalinga hand-tap tattoo tradition.

Before and after the pandemic, both local and international tourists visited Buscalan to receive traditional tattoos from Apo Whang-Od. A member of the Kalinga Butbut tribe, she has played a vital role in preserving and promoting the tribe's rich cultural heritage.

To ensure the continuation of this centuries-old art form, Apo Whang-Od has trained several young women in the traditional hand-tap tattooing technique. These women are now considered the successors to her remarkable artistry.

Thanks to Apo Whang-Od's international recognition, Buscalan Village and Kalinga Province have become popular cultural tourism destinations, attracting visitors from around the world.

Transfer back to Sagada.
