Day 1 Arrive in Reykjavik, Iceland (D)
Welcome to Reykjavik! At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and travel companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.
Day 2 Reykjavik-Thingvellir-Geysir-Gullfoss-Vik Area (B/D)
Incredible Iceland. Start the day with an orientation drive around the capital city of Reykjavik before continuing to Thingvellir for a unique experience! Walk through the Rift Valley’s landscape formed by shifting tectonic plates and stand on two continents at the same time! Later, arrive at the hot springs of Geysir for a real treat! Taste local specialties including freshly baked bread and a glass of Geysir Schnapps. Before arriving in the Vik Area, stop to take photos at the Gullfoss waterfalls. 221mi/356 km

Day 4 Vik Area-Vikurfjara-Skogafoss-Seljalandsfoss-Hellishiðarvirkjun-Reykjavik (B/D)
Rainbows & Waterfalls. Today, take in the variety of colors in the ever-changing landscapes. Enjoy a photo stop at Vikurfjara to admire the dramatic coastline of basalt columns and black sand beaches. Admire the verdant green landscapes of the Skogafoss and Seljandsfoss waterfalls during a scenic drive. Then, continue to Hellishiðarvirkjun to visit the geothermal heat and electric power station. CULTURE & TRADITION The name of Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavik, means “smoky bay.” It was named by the first settlers after the columns of steam that they could observe rising from its geothermal springs.
