Itinerary

Day 1 (Fri): Arrival Lisbon

Arrival at Lisbon airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time for rest or individual sightseeing.

Overnight in in Lisbon.

Day 2 (SAT): Lisbon – Belém – Cascais – Boca do Inferno – Cabo da Roca – Sintra – Lisbon | 90 km (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

09;00 a.m., depart for a brief panoramic tour of Lisbon, then continuation to Belém, a historical site with several monuments, such as the imposing Monument to the Discoveries and other historical buildings, such as the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower - both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the same neighborhood, it will be possible to visit the traditional pastel de Belém factory and taste this typical delicacy since 1837. Then, continue along the road with panoramic sea views - passing through Estoril - to Cascais, where there will be free time for lunch and a stroll through the historic center of Cascais. Soon after, we will make a brief stop at Boca do Inferno, an impressive rock formation where the waves of the sea crash with great force, providing unique views. And then, we will continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the entire European continent; then, we will go to the romantic village of Sintra, with free time for a walk.

Return to Lisbon for overnight.

Day 3 (Sun): Lisbon Free Day (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day for individual activities or enrich your trip by joining any of the optional tours being offered.

Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 4 (Mon): Lisbon – Óbidos – Nazaré – Alcobaça – Fátima | 180 km (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 a.m., depart for Óbidos - a typical village with narrow streets and flowery white houses. Time to try the traditional Ginja de Óbidos, served in a chocolate cup. Next, we will head to the authentic Nazaré, a fishing village famous for its giant wave beach, with free time for lunch and a walk through the historic center of Nazaré. The next stop will be in Alcobaça, the city of eternal love, to visit the tombs of D. Pedro I and D. Inês de Castro in the Monastery of Alcobaça - a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the gastronomic attractions of this tour, and which makes the experience even more complete, is the tasting of the incredible conventual sweets of monastic heritage, whose original recipes are from the Cistercian monks, who inhabited the region. Arrival in Fatima, accommodation and free time.

Note: In the period between April and October, there is the possibility of participating in the candlelight procession.

Day 5 (Tue): Fátima – Aljustrel – Batalha – Lisbon | 125 km (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.


09:00 a.m., departure from the hotel to Batalha, with a brief stop in Aljustrel, where the three little shepherds lived, including a visit to the House of Sister Lucia. We continue to Batalha and get to know its impressive Monastery, a masterpiece of Portuguese Gothic architecture and a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Return to Lisbon for overnight.

Day 6 (Wed): Lisbon Free Day (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day for individual activities or optional tours.

Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 7 (Thu) Departure Lisbon (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Whole day is free until time to transfer to the airport for departure.

Triple rooms are usually double or 2 twin beds plus a sofa or roll-away bed. This is suitable for couple with small kids but not ideal for 3 adults.

This tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers to operate and maximum group size of 8 passengers.

The minimum age allowed to join this guaranteed small group series is 4 years old. Children below 4 years old will be accepted only on private tours.
