Casablanca – Fez - Marrakech - Zagora - Erfoud - Ouarzazate - Casablanca
This 10-day journey offers a comprehensive discovery of Morocco’s imperial cities, ancient civilizations, and dramatic desert landscapes. Beginning in Casablanca, travelers explore the country’s economic capital before heading to the historic cities of Meknes and Fez, home to medieval medinas, royal palaces, and remarkable Roman ruins at Volubilis. The route continues through Rabat and Marrakech, where vibrant souks, iconic monuments, and lively squares reveal Morocco’s rich cultural heritage.
Leaving the cities behind, the journey crosses the High Atlas Mountains to the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and follows the lush Draa Valley toward the desert gateway of Zagora. The adventure continues through authentic pre-Saharan villages and oases to Erfoud, near the edge of the Sahara, before visiting the dramatic Todra Canyons and traveling the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate. The tour concludes with a return to Casablanca via Marrakech, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and breathtaking scenery for an unforgettable Moroccan experience.

Itinerary
Day 1 (Sat) Arrival Casablanca. D
Arrive in Casablanca. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 (Sun) Casablanca – Fez (320 km). B/D
Short visit of the Economic Capital: the Habous district, the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the outside of the Mosque Hassan II. Then drive to Meknes, the Ismailia capital with the longest ramparts in Morocco). Optional lunch. Visit the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Stables and the Jewish quarter. Continue to the holy city of Moulay Driss (panoramic view) and visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then onward to Fez.
Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 (Mon) Fez. B/D
The whole day is devoted to the visit of the spiritual capital: the Medieval Medina and its souks, The Royal Palace, Attarineor Bou Anania Medersa, Nejjarine fountain and the outside of Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and Karaouine Mosque. Optional lunch in a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afternoon continuation of the visit.

Day 4 (Tue) Fez – Rabat – Marrakech (495 km). B/D
Departure to Rabat - the Administrative Capital. Visit the Royal Palace Mechouar, Mohamed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower Mosque. Optional seafood lunch. Then continue to Marrakech.

Day 5 (Wed) Marrakech. B/L
Full day visit of Marrakech - the second oldest imperial city. The historical visit includes the Menara Garden; the Bahia Palace; the Koutoubia; and Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, visit the souks, handicraft quarters and the famous Jemaa El-Fna Square with its non-stop entertainment. Optional dinner with show.

Day 6 (Thu) Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Zagora (380 km). B/D
Depart to
through Tizi N’tichka pass (2,260 meters altitude). Visit its famous Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site that served as décor for many great movies such as Laurence of Arabia, Troy, Gladiator, Games of thrones, etc. Optional lunch. Then continue to Zagora crossing the Draa Valley.

Day 7 (Fri) Zagora – Nkob – Tazzarine -Erfoud (300 km). B/D
Departure to Erfoud with a stop at Tamgroute Village known for its pottery center. The route also includes the villages of Tansikht, Nkob, Tazzarine and Alnif with splendid pre-saharian sceneries. Optional lunch at Alnif.
Afternoon, continuation to Erfoud via the village of Rissani, birth place of the Alaouites Dynasty.

Day 8 (Sat) Erfoud – Tinghir – Ouarzazate (350km). B/D
In case the previous night was spent in the hotel in Erfoud. Departure to Tinghir, visit of its magnificent Todra Canyons where rocks reach an altitude of 250m. Optional lunch in local restaurant near the canyons.
Afternoon, continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the1000 Kasbahs crossing Kalaat M’Gouna & Skoura valley. Short tour of Ouarzazate city upon arrival.
Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 (Sun) Ouarzazate – Marrakech – Casablanca (430km). B/D
Departure to Marrakech. Optional lunch in restaurant. Continue to Casablanca.

Day 10 (Mon) Casablanca Departure. B
Transfer with assistance to Casablanca airport for departure.
