On the way to the famous Chocolate Hills, enjoy a scenic drive through the lush Mahogany Man-Made Forest and the verdant farmlands of Bilar and Batuan. In Bilar, stop by the Butterfly Farm, home to a wide variety of native Philippine butterfly species. Then, head to a viewing deck in the town of Carmen to take in the breathtaking sight of the iconic cone-shaped formations known as the Chocolate Hills.
Afterward, return to Loboc for a relaxing 60-minute river cruise along the nipa-lined waterway, where a delicious lunch will be served onboard. As you drift along the river, let the peaceful surroundings—rolling hills, swaying coconut trees, and vibrant nipa palms. With a bit of luck, you may even spot a tarsier, one of the world’s smallest primates, known for its gentle nature and large, expressive eyes.
Before heading back to Tagbilaran, enjoy a brief stop in Loay to witness local backyard industries, including traditional nipa weaving and knife making.
