Itinerary

Enjoy the scenic drive along the southern Cebu coastline. En route, you will pass through the town of Carcar, famous for its shoe-making industry, and native delicacies such as “ampao” (sweetened rice crisps) and “chicharon” (crispy pork skin).

Next you will drive to Argao, famous for its 400 year-old St. Michael Archangel Church, before visiting the town of Dalaguete, known as the vegetable capital of Cebu, and finally arriving in Oslob. Here we will depart for a brief scenic boat ride to Sumilon Island. Take in the beauty of this 60-acre island, the Philippine’s first marine reserve and one of the best dive spots in the Visayan Region. Here you can snorkel, swim, or sunbathe on the pristine white sand beaches, trek to an old lighthouse with an 18th century historical watchtower, or go kayaking in a natural lagoon.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the island and the amenities of the beautiful Sumilon Island Beach Resort. We will return to the city late in the afternoon.
